How do you make them stay still long enough to fire the shutter. Up here they never stay still for longer than a few milliseconds and they mostly stay deep in the foliage. Typically, when I did see 6 of them together in one tree in my garden, I didn't have my camera to hand.

No birds some landscape stuff. Carrizo gorge. In 1905 they built a R&R through it. Here's some shots of the tracks, a powder house and whats in those tins. Usually you can catch some big horn sheep but not on this day.

One more of Carrizo gorge. Rail car off tracks. Lots of twist and turns on these tracks. There's these wheel greasers, putting grease on the wheels. This is to prevent the cars from climbing over the tracks. The gorge is littered with these rail cars.
