Bit of a boring shot as you can't even see what camera it is, so...

Did something similar last summer but flew a high winger (Cessna 172) - better for landscape photography. Got some decent shots of the Gower peninsula (Wales). I had to get a friend to do the photography as I was "on the stick" until we were 3 feet off the ground!
The instructor must have thought I knew what I was doing?!?

Great experience and a wonderful way to get a different perspective!

That is my daughter who at the time was an ATC cadet, and I was an instructor with the Sqn. We had provided the flying club based at the airfield with bodies to help with their annual flying display weekend, and in return they put on a days flying for us. All the cadets got at least three flights each, while the adult instructors, and other volunteers all had two trips. What was good was that they got to fly in a wide range of different types, from the latest Vans RV7's and RV9's to 1950's classics like the Jodel that you see Rosie in, and a similar vintage Piper Super Cub. Anyone flying in a front seat got to handle the controls too.

Somewhere back in this thread is a selfie that Rosie took in the back seat of a Cessna when she got a trip on a different occasion that we were helping at the flying club.

Oh and for anyone interested learning to fly a plane is no harder then learning to drive a car, if you can manage one you should be able to manage the other. Also here in the UK at least you have to be a couple of years older to drive a car then you need to be to fly a plane!
