thanks graham. I like the lens but it seems i get the most use around 15-20mm. 12mm is a little too wide sometimes. it can miss focus .sharpness is good.

Yes, I noticed that it won't always catch focus when it is dark. Still, it's a cool lens. It's the first truly serious lens I bought that isn't Canon, and I'm impressed.

Borrowed my good friends' Sigma 12-24 to take this long exposure shot of the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, CA... This is the second season Style Fashion Week LA used this beautiful facility to present next seasons' fashion and couture from amazing designers like Mario De La Torre, Nikki Lund, Bijan Andre, and David Tupaz (to name a select few)... Beautiful fashion + amazing venue = wonderful captures!!! 1DX + Sigma 12-24... ISO 50, f/16 @ 25sec exposure...

:)

Just ordered this lens to replace the Sigma 8-16mm I have been using for Real Estate photography on my crop body. Selling my crop gear, so needed ultra-wide on FF.

Would really have liked to gotten the Art f4 model, but snagged a deal on this used in new condition for $540. For $1k difference, I imagine I will be happy with this one. I already have the Canon 16-35mm f4L, but sometimes it isn't quite wide enough.

Once I receive it I will post a few shots to keep this thread alive.

Got my lens and while it is intended for use on my, as yet un-received 5D Mark IV, I slapped it on my 7D Mark II as a job came up and the realtor couldn't wait.

Happy with the lens so far, a good flare when pointing pretty much straight towards the (out of frame) sun at 12mm. Seems acceptably sharp on the 7D and a bit larger than the 8-16mm. I had a chance to see the 12-24mm f4 Art in person at Kenmore camera over the weekend and that thing is massive. I think this one will do just fine...
