I appreciate that this has become a heated topic again, with the world changes we are seeing.
I hate to come in here and be the bad cop, but this has gone way into political and religious debate that POTN has decided years ago to keep off our forum.
Until we change that rule, I have no choice but to close this thread.
Honestly, I wish I could wade in here, and take up this debate with you, but alas...
I would like to throw one thought out there;
If POTN behaved like the Photographer in the article, if we chose to refuse membership to those with lifestyles or beliefs that we disagree with..?
Some of you posting in this thread would not be here. Simply for having beliefs that differ, or living a lifestyle that differs. And how would that go over I wonder? Would that be fair? If You felt that that was discrimination, would I be justified to feel that by saying that about me, that I was being discriminated against? Just something to consider.
Again for the record;
POTN provides a forum for the discussion of photography and photo related topics to all members without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
POTN expressly prohibits any form of harassment based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.
