In ACR, lowered saturation, clarity and vibrance, raised blacks and shadows some, in PS added a Sunset 3dLUT + some saturation.

Adjusted in LR: Contrast, highlights, shadows, whites, blacks, clarity. Played with Saturation of Orange, yellow, green, aqua, and blue, A bit of Luminance adjustment, Profile correction for CA, then some cleaning up of the foreground hill in PS. Also cropped the bottom just a tad.

in acr.
gradient fore the sky with a warmer whitepoint.
light up the center, and some more black for the trees, but also added shadows up, (strange thing mmm).
dehaze on almost the part off the bottom off the image, so the green (water or roof off an barn?) is more visible
In ps added a sun with some flare behind the left tree.

I like the sun flare idea. I think it would look even better if we could see the light from the flare spilling on to the trees directly past the flare. Maybe increase the exposure in those areas?

I started in lightroom. Played with White Clipping, Black Clipping, Shadows, Highlights, Exposure, more Back Clipping, Contrast, Luminance, Luminance Detail, added some graduated filters. Chanaged Exposure again. Tweaked Highlights, Shadows and whites. Played with color temperatures. Added some adjustment brushes for color, dehaze, vibrance clarity and saturation. I then edited in Color Efex Pro 4 and applied Indian Summer - Light red filter. I then took it to Photoshop, adjusted colors a bit, created unsharp mask, added a couple new layers, one to use brush in darken mode with about 15% of the orange color and then another to bright some whites on edges of clouds.

Thank you!

I like how you got the sunset cast in the sky in yours.

Pre-processing: Lens correction and reduce CA in ACR, save as DNG
Processing: Tonemapping with SNS-HDR 2
Post processing with Photoshop CS6: Denoise, tidy up foreground clutter, apply nil Tonal Contrast filter to foreground, increase sky saturation slightly, crop and resize.

OK, I like how everyone else was removing buildings and etc. I did the same, but added an eagle and an owl! LOL (I was bored).

Noticed you missed this on both entries so far. it's Lake Pend d'Oreille (pond doray) with two ll's ;)

Couple of Canon bodies, a couple of Canon lens, few gadgets all stuffed in a bag...and a stick, and a tripod.
