I'll be up again soon :) Can't wait for another round of shooting with Nifty. I still have my list of places that I wanted to visit but they didn't materialize due to my husband's sudden death. I'm almost ready to go out again and shoot myself stupid :)

OK.. so it seems that we have a 50mm STM lens traveling ..
I have traced back over 2 years and still cannot figure out how the STM lens got into rotation
Can anyone enlighten me? Looks like it could have been the member itw

I don't know about you but if this guy REALLY sold 181 of these for that price, I can see why he's away until March 20. I would be too with that kind of profit margin...

I almost feel like I'm living in Amsterdam, Levina. These are great!

I second that.... wonderful series.

I would assume he jacked the price way up while he is away so nobody would actually purchase one and then ding his ratings for not shipping quickly or responding to questions fast enough. But he keeps his listing active for those that may be "following" his listing(s) and to keep him near the top of the searches.

I have seen similar "extreme pricing" happen with a number of other items on eBay when the seller takes a break but wants to keep the listing active.

7Dmk2, Tokina 12-24 f/4, Canon EF-S 18-135 f/3.5-5.6 IS STM, Canon 70-200 f/4L IS, Canon 70-200 f/2.8L IS III, Tamron SP 24-70mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2, a few other cheap lenses, lots of little stuff, flashes, stands, and almost enough brains to be considered dangerous

At present we would like anyone wishing to host have at least a 200 post count or have been active on POTN for a year. Hopefully, this will reduce the number of people that do not participate in a timely manner, or "forget" to move Nifty on to the next host, or simply don't care.

* Though, this doesn't seem to alter the fact that people tend to forget to send Nifty on and tend to post very little... with some exceptions! To sign up to be a host, please copy the list completely, add your name to the bottom of the sub-list that is in your area of the world, paste the entire list into a new post with your name added.

Great series, Levina..
I can remember sitting at signals where there were 4 cars and what seemed like 400 cyclists!!
When the signals changed it was a Charge through the intersections!!

Maximus might be smelling my dogs. The box was laying on the floor while I had the lens and my dog was probably laying next to it quite a few times. :) Maximus, meet Shadow and Boots. :)

Thanks for being a wonderful Host!

..And Thank You for the Update.

It was nice hosting nifty again. I only wish I had received it later like closer to spring. Funny thing is I had it at around the exact same time last year. It's usually pretty quiet around here after the holidays. Maybe I'll sign up to host again sometime in the future.

Thanks again.
