I had the perfect combination of light and wind direction for my couple of hours down at the Des Moines River in my little burlap camo hide yesterday afternoon. Too many great shots to cull through the folder in one day. Really had a great afternoon off work. Many more on my Flickr and many more to come.

Very nice John, love the days that everything comes together. I could use one of those.

They seem to be few and far between for me.
Thanks for the comments guys. My wife thinks I'm nuts for sitting on a river bank in the middle of winter looking for that quintessential "fishing" shot. I know here I am in the company of like minded "nut jobs"!

Hawaiian goose portrait, Once a very rare bird on the verge of extinction, but a captive breeding programme led by the late Sir Peter Scott at Slimbridge brought it back from the brink.
