Is the motion blur in the left hand OOF area caused by heat haze or is it characteristic of this lens?

If anyone is interested in seeing how the 85mm shoots video, this is a simple video I shot using the 5D Mark IV. Only 3-4 shots were NOT taken with the 85 Art.

Looks to me like the areas in the left of the shot are either a long way in front of the focus plane (relatively) or a long way behind the focal plane

I also have a 135L that I'm considering selling for the 85 ART. I would love to hear a comparison and if anyone has any buyer's remorse. I know I can always get another 135 if need be, and I think that's the only reason why I'm coming so close to selling it to get the 85.

Sigma are reportedly releasing an f/1.8 135mm soon.
