Good shots. I worked on the F-35 for ten years writing the plans to assemble the plane.

Would still be there but decided to retire early last year after 35 years. It was a fun program to work on. Would love to see one fly in person.

they are starting to have a F35 demo team and for this year in this side of the pond, the F-35B been doing single ship demo and heritage flight. So far have seen them performing in MCAS beaufort ( last weekend) and MCAS Yuma. Probably will attend the RIAT for being the world's greatest airshow for aviation enthusiasts!

Of course the constant flying of F-35 here in KNFW! LOL! In a good day we get like 3 to 4 sorties a day! Quite often they fly on weekends too.....

Sorry to resurrect a thread this dated, I am hoping you could tell me what setup you used, specifically for #2?

I assume that this is from Alliance Airport. Is the location that you shot from accessible or were you on airport grounds? I live 15 miles from there and would love to get out there for some shots.

Im not Dave but a friend of his and these were shot from the base(old carswell). F35s never stop in at alliance, lockheed has a plant by the base(shares the grounds) and flys from there. Usually on a good day you can catch one or 2. check out airwingspotter.com and you can read all about spotting from there.

I just wish our deliveries had started, we were initially supposed to have taken delivery some five years ago. They are supposed to be coming to RAF Marham, which is only about an hours drive from me.
