Body arrived today, two days earlier than expected! Thanks again to Gordon at CPW.

My dog thinks he is in trouble when the camera gets pointed at him...

The look my wife gives me when new gear arrives isn't much different...

The only thing missing with that dog shot is a shaming message hanging fro his neck. Wife sure looks impressed. Reminds me of mine.

With the latest winter storm dropping over a foot of snow, the Mark IV decided it was time to warm up in Florida for a little while :)

Pushed the iso to 3200 yesterday at sunset in a helicopter shooting at sunset over Las Vegas blvd for a client. The mkIV handled it really well!

So today we finally had no rain and no overcast skies so we trekked off to the zoo to test out the camera. I used the 300mm lens + a 1.4 teleconverter for most shots but I also took my 135mm lens and used it for a handful of shots as well. So far, I am pleased enough. This is through a wire cage.....

How bad is it that I want to run up to him and rub his fuzzy little nose?

Your wife has the remote!! Is that a trade-off for the new gear that you have?

My wife and I both have our own remotes at home and the lake. It has actually made things much easier. She does not have to try and pry the remote from my hand when I'm snoozing. Easier to get a bone from a hungry dog.

You will like it. It has all the 7D2 goodies. The AF area selection button is in a different location. Takes a bit of adjusting. Liek Jake said a fair bit of nubbin at first :-)
