ChopperAl Senior Member  More info | Feb 16, 2017 14:20 | #4 Yeah, I watched the Apollo 11 launch from Cocoa Beach in Florida and the Apollo 13 launch from inside Nasa's grounds. I was a kid and guess we were a couple of miles away from the Apollo 13 launch pad. The sound of the rockets was amazing and the view was spectacular!
