airbutchie Not too crunchy More info | Feb 14, 2017 09:34 | #8391 Paranormal Pier... I swear that's the Pacific Ocean!!! Hehehehe... Underneath Huntington Beach Pier in SoCal... Long exposure scenery during the morning's high tide... 1DX + 24LII + Stacked Lee Filters (Big Stopper, 0.9 ND, and 105mm CPL)... Almost 15-stops combined!!! ISO 100, f/13 @ 4 minutes and 30 seconds exposure... Pardon the subtle focus-shift with the pier's edges... The tripod was being slammed by incoming waves... ![]() Hi. My name is Butch...

Hard to notice the foxus shift on my phone, but that's a beautiful shot!

Brylek Senior Member More info | Not really, I only saw that thing maybe 5-7 times in my entire life. The city is crowded and parking sucks so I usually go in the other direction. Canon 5D MkII - 11-24mm F4L / 24-70mm F2.8L II / 85mm F1.2L II / 100-400mm F4.5-5.6L IS / 500mm F4L IS

I can imagine that people that live there avoid downtown...as a visitor, we had no vehicle, so we walked everywhere, close to 35 miles during the trip. It was my second time to Chicago, and I really enjoyed myself. Website

The best way to enjoy Chicago was to take the train to Union Station. Yeah it's crowded downtown but I never had to worry about parking or traffic. And it only cost $5 each way to go to Elgin.
