The 80D seems to have become a birding camera looking at the large number of avian related postings, so when in Rome.... :lol:

Nope, Dorset UK actually, although not out in the wild. But perhaps it's not a saying down under - "when in Rome... do as the Romans do" i.e. go with the flow.

Kite surfers taking to the air, enjoying the strong winds and waves in Lyme Regis today.

I was getting in some practice with the various tracking modes in tricky conditions. It was bright enough to keep the ISO at 800 and still get shutter speeds at and above 1/1600, even with the Sigma @ 600mm and down one notch.

Bought a new toy last week (35mm f2 IS). Took it out for the first time yesterday. Very nice lens, and thanks to the short MFD also capable of decent close-up shots.
