I was about to purchase a 12-24/4.0A this week.. I'm going to hold out and see how the 14A performs. Loving this sigma innovation!

OS on the 24-70 really has me interested. I got lazy with the OS on my other lenses and when I got the Canon 24-70 f2.8 without it, I found I had to up my game in the holding the camera steady. My wife will probably kill me, but if the reviews show the Sigma to be close in sharpness, I may be selling a six month old Canon soon.

Would love to pick up the 24-70 art as a standard walk around zoom. I have all my other needs covered, but I still have my kit 18-135 stm lens on the camera regularly just in case I need to grab my camera for a quick shot, but would be nice to have a quicker clearer standard zoom. Couldn't find any prices anywhere, anyone heard anything?

I for one am very interested in the 100-400 as I personally rarely use long FL and cannot justify the Canon 100-400LII (never a fan of the old dust pump)..
Of course the 135/1.8 would be a dream lens, but waaaaaaaay above my pay grade :)

Same here. This new 100-400 is intriguing to me too. I just don't need the 201-400 focal length beyond my 70-200/4 IS enough to justify over $2k for the 100-400 II

Canon 7D/350D, Σ17-50/2.8 OS, 18-55IS, 24-105/4 L IS, Σ30/1.4 EX, 50/1.8, C50/1.4, 55-250IS, 60/2.8, 70-200/4 L IS, 85/1.8, 100/2.8 IS L, 135/2 L 580EX II, 430EX II * 2, 270EX II.

24-70 with OS is interesting. If it can come close to image quality of the L then Canons is in deep stuff.

Thats said, the tammy 24-70 sucks so Sigma has to really step up here

im probably going to get the 85 Art

Nah, it isn't very nice having to set aperture and focus and not having exif when you are done... :)

The 14mm Art is looking like eye candy to me. I hope the price point is less than $1,000.

I do miss not having shooting details in the files. But, darn you, those are great pictures!!!

Guess I better get my credit card out again. And my 16-35mm f/4L IS just arrived today! Too many lenses, too little time. Rather, too little nice weather and too little critters running about. Definitely looks like a fun, great lens!

As for the Sigmas, the 135mm is the only one that interests me. Wonder what the starting MSRP will be? Gotta be more than the for the 85mm Art. At that point, it will place it more than the 135L. Not sure how that will settle with consumers.

I predict the 135 art to be the cheaper of the lot more in the 800ish region. It would be difficult for Sigma to compete at same selling price with the 135L and this is not in Sigma's strategy seen so far...hope to be right :-)

lucky release of the samyang 14 2.4 kept getting delayed otherwise would've already picked it up...i have no doubt the sigma 14 will be sharp what remains to be seen is distortion and coma i guess

in saying that despite being "only" 2.4 the new samyang 14mm is sharp across the frame and is basically coma free wide open which in itself is quite an achievement...hopefully the sigma can match that or at least be very close at 1.8

as much as we all want that the fact that the samyang is already selling at that price point being only 2.4 and manual focus and sigma's own pricing of their 12-24 i can't see that happening unfortunately :(

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

he's over in the rumors section, where there was a post about these a few days before the announcement...i think he's probably just figuring out where to pre-order from...:)
