Its been a while since I have posted anything. Shot this last fall just outside of Yellowstone. I love the contrast going on here.

Contrast literally and metaphorically. From death comes life. Especially in Western forests.

Heat damage. Interesting.

I'm waiting for a dead pine near General Sherman giant sequoia to defoliate the colored foliage. In your photo, it works nicely for composition.
