I can see these birds in the US, just not in the wild!! I know a few parrot breeders/collectors who have some pretty rare (in the US) psittacine species, trying to arrange some photo shoots of them. I've done a couple, need more!!!

A juvenile Eastern Yellow Robin in the rainforest at Lamington National Park. The twitch in the right foot was probably a result of the pre-flash startling the bird.

Osprey's are quite common up & down the southern coasts of WA. Out if all the birds I have captured often, Ospreys seem to have very defined personalities!
