I changed from Canon to XT-2 as well and got a Tenba DNA which works really well, unless I'm taking the large lenses then I go with the Tamrac Expedition. I want something slightly larger than the DNA 11. I use a Crumpler messenger bag for my Panasonic GX8. I need another camera though, just so I can make use of my now redundant Lowepro minitrekker

I've got an ancient gray (it was originally black) Domke F2 that I use when I'm going to be shooting on the move.
I have an old rolling Portercase (Monte Zucker recommended it--yeah, I bought it back then) that I use for portraits--generally shooting in one location with tripod, lights, et cetera.
I've got another rolling large case that I can barely lift when shooting video--it also contains sound gear.

I recently moved from canon to XT-2 as well. For me also the peak design gear is a perfect fit or the mirroless camera. Last year on a trip I used their messenger bag with my 5kmk3, and I just did not find it a good fit. But with the X-t2 its just perfect. Ended up getting their 20L backpack and the sling.

Yes I have a bag fettish, I have about 18 camera bags, 4 lighting bags, and 6+ general shoulder bags, my wife may know of more I have missed out. She keeps her eye out for bargain bags in charity shops :) and interesting cameras books etc. I like bags and its nice to have a choice of size style etc anyhow.

No sadly, the lighting ones are with various bits, about 6 of the cam bags are but then one camera takes up my one backpack being a Dierdorf 10x8, most are old film cameras that are kept for emotional reasons.

Just today my wife compared my collection of camera and lens bags to a woman's shoe collection. I couldn't even argue with her.

I tell myself its not a fetish... but maybe I'm wrong lol

Honestly, I have tried 4 or 5 bags in the past, not because I love bags, but because I haven't been able to find the "right" one.
Came to realization few years a go that I will never find the perfect bag and will fit all of my needs, so I stopped looking and buying.

I just ended up using my normal backpack or hiking bag along with inserts.
Seems to be working for me.

I think each person is different...
