Mar 03, 2017 18:15 | #103 Okay, this was FUN. Transition The idea behind this one was a little simpler. Just trying to show face that's changing, as part of a change from sanity to madness sure, but just a simple transition lol. I used two filters on this one: one splits the photo into five images, which all by itself kind of changes the faces by obscuring parts of them and changing their locations. And I also used a motion filter, which blurs one side of the photo from the middle on - and by doing that it kinda makes it appear that the face itself is changing, even though it's the exact same face for each of the five faces. So I'm calling this one "transition", even though when I look it I could certainly make a case for this being the "madness" photo. I spent some time a couple days ago working on a series of Polaroids with the inspiration of "Transition to Madness". These are the two that I feel best represent Transition and Madness, and frankly I think either one could be used for either word - which is sort of what I was going for. At some point if I decide on maybe 8-9 final shots for the series I might take a photo of them all and post it, but for now I'll just post these two. Very creative! I like them. Stina
