Yikes...I thought my entry would be at the bottom of the barrel this week. That is the view from my backyard over into my neighbor's yard.....one tree still winter bare, the other in bloom. I live in farm country where all the trees are now vibrant with pink or white blossoms...we have the famous Blossom Trail here in our valley but honestly, everywhere is just amazing from now into March. You can see more here: http://goblossomtrail.com/ (external link)

Trumper, loved your entry! Congrats to to Jim as well. Thanks for the hosting job this week, teekay & so happy to have you back. I will have a new challenge up this evening.

Congratulations to Mo and Trumper and thanks for the 3rd place nod, Teekay. I really liked Tony's stark winter photo with a hint of spring to come.

I caught my lonely jonquil early this morning in my front yard...it popped up overnight. It surely has been a different winter this year. We are going to 80 degrees here on Wednesday :-0.

Kudos to all. Maureen's and Jim's images could fall under the heading of Climate Change. Tomorrow could be our fourth 70F day this month in central IL. Unheard of before this year. The underbrush out behind my house has started to bud out. That's about a month or more early. I hate to think about what June and July might be like this year.

We are chilly here in Central california with a bit more rain today.... up to 68 by Friday, then more rain coming in on the weekend. Crazy weather this year.

It is going to 78 Wednesday with a severe storm warning here in Northern Virginia! The Jet Stream is up in Canada holding in all the cold air.
