I was very very privaledged today to be treated to a flying display from my back yard - of a gorgeous buzzard, I got about ten shots of him/her in different flighht patterns, but I thought I would just post two with one of them a black and white conversion.

Hope you like them.

Thank you kindly, I am lucky here to see at least one or two quite often causing a fuss with the local crows/jays or even sea gulls fancying thier chances against them, I hope one day to get a really good shot of a sitting buzzard, but to be honest there are not many places they would feel safe enough to sit for a while.

A buzzard in Europe is a Buteo - similar to what we call a hawk.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Just a bit bigger between a hawk and an eagle in size.

Thank you very much my friend, I have several more from the same shoot, just lucky having the buzzard around so long.
