Great shot of the Pileated. Thinking about trying out this lens on the 7D2. Looks like winter has derailed the approach of spring today for you and for me. 7D2 | 80D | Fuji X-H1 | Fuji GFX100S | 100-400 f/4-5.6 IIL | 300 f/4 L | 70-200 f/2.8 IIL | 135 f/2 L | 85 f/1.8 | 100 f/2 | 60 f/2.8 macro | nifty-fifty | 10-22 f/3.5-4.5 | Fuji XF 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 | Fuji GF 50mm f/3.5 | Sigma 30 f/1.4 | Neewer X 25mm f/1.8 | Neewer X 32mm f/1.6

They are all cropped and edited. Base ISO was 1600. I do not know why unless it is the software in the Sigma adapter. The camera was set on auto ISO. Consequently the shutter speeds were quite high. Apertures ranged from f5 to f9. I don't know if the reported information is true. IBIS did not come on when I turned IS on the lens off, so I reapplied the IS, which did work. Focusing was very fast and accurate. These images are at the APS-C format setting rather than full-frame. Image hosted by forum (845543) © advaitin [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. MatthewK Cream of the Crop More info | This lens on a crop camera, with the 1.4x extender is awesome. Super light weight and portable, great for walking around. My DO + 80D are inseparable, and I think it'd be the case with the 7D2 also Image hosted by forum (845545) © MatthewK [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. What I thought was yet another woodpecker of some sort, turned out to be something altogether unexpected. I didn't think I'd ever see one in my area! This taken in shade at the end of the day, as the sun was being blocked by tall trees behind me, and so wasn't best for optimum exposure. Wish I would have had higher SS, so next time will remember that. Image hosted by forum (845547) © MatthewK [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff.
