You've done it again, Phil! Extraordinary cityscape.

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

Thank you for your feedback. That day was the wind, so only in this photo was a good reflection. Regarding the other framing, you can show that you mean?

Maybe something like this. Just a thought. What do you think?

A good option. I rarely crop my shots. Love standard frame options

Hey, I spent three weeks in singapore, I never got to visit that bay!!!

And, early in my stay there, the little camera I had brought with me up and died, so no Singapore photos! :(

A broken camera can really hurt, Tony... It happened to me in the analog days, I was a student on a long backpacking trip and couldn't afford buying a new one. Now I always bring two bodies with me, wherever I go...
3 weeks in Singapore... wow, I suppose after 2 weeks that climate would kill me :) It's brutally hot and humid :) I spent only 3 days there.

Yeah, for sure it can "hurt"!

Besides losing that one in Singapore, also my last (and nicest film camera also bit the dust. I reverted to grabbing those little "disposable" cameras off the shelf!

And then, something rather "fun happened a few years ago. Most of my photography gear had been sold off following financial hardships, I suppose about $10k worth of good "L" lenses, and also my top-of-the-line 1D Mk 3, (my birding and sports body)...

Anyway, my activity definitely died down, and so, I was no longer looking at investing in more gear...

Anyway, one day I decided to drop in to a nearby "electronics "Thrift" shop, selling used gadgets and such...I browsed around a bit, and then started toward the front door.

At the counter was a little box with some "stuff" in it. I glanced down, and saw a small HP "Compact camera, I picked it up, the shop manager said it did in fact work, and began making offers, for $20, for $10, I sort of shrugged it off as I began heading toward the exit.

He then said, "Hey, you can have it for $5!!!

Well, how could I refuse? I walked out the door with a little old digicam, mostly P&S, but allows some tweaking, and with that camera I actually got out and took some photos, they weren't terrible!

end of That Story! :)

Well Hey, talk about cityscapes!

In one thread there was some discussion about life along the Puget Sound and Seattle, and of the pleasures of riding the Puget Sound ferries!

that brought back memories, and here are shots of the Seattle skyline as we/the ferry drew closer:
