Bit of luck tonight. I was going to give the owls a miss tonight but a friendly text got me out. Got there as the heavens opened so back to the car, 10 minutes later a bit of bright sky so back out. Crossing the bridge I saw an owl. It dived and I got this on the second frame. Happy days. I am also back in love with my 300mmf4 and x1.4TC. Sigma 150-600C ?

Not familiar with wood storks, but if storks bring babies, do wood storks bring marionettes?

Pardon my warped humor. Nice shot no matter what.

Lol I think your assumptions are spot on

Taken this evening at Uphill, Weston-Super-Mare. Managed to see just the one SEO. I had a 30 minute window between the dark clouds/rain and light breaking through. I watched a crow chasing off the owl, the owl sharply turned and come up behind the crow. The Crow soon scuppered.

I took these using my 1.4 x TC (III)
