I see it more clearly now, the front one is a light? I mistook it for a front optic.

It's a red dot. Distance from eye can be varied so its based on preference.

Hey Sully, mind sharing the make/model of that offset light mount? I usually like mounting a rear push button light directly on the left rail section, but I have a setup where mounting offset from the top rail would be more ideal. Thanks!

Buddy just filled me in on this thread. I don't come on here often, but figured I'd add to the thread a little. A lot of nice stuff in here, both firearms and pics

Sweet. Had a chance at one a long, long time ago.
Could've, should've bought it.
Very cool DubR.

Nice capture of what I would consider a real treasure. :-)

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

I was incorrect, the year of manufacture was 1919.

If you're seeing 1919 stamped on the gun, that might just be the year the design was patented. I don't think the "Woodsman" moniker was attached until around 1925-1927. The only reason I know this (or think I do :-)) is because it was one of the guns I researched the value on for an elderly family member after her husband died. I think you were right with the mid 30's guess. My recollection is that's the second series is when the horse started to be placed right over the name towards the front of the frame.
