Finches, finches, boy do I get the finches. The damned hogs sit at the feeder and eat and eat. Where do they put all those sunflower seeds? At least the other birds take one and leave.
Not these pigs. And the gold finches are just as bad.

Ya got me. I can count on one hand the number of scarlet tanagers I have seen in my whole life.
And all of those have been males in breeding plumage.

Well you should be thankful, this Sunday was the first time I've ever seen a finch on any of our feeders though I did once see a juive bull finch on the ground below them. A pair of these little beauties have been there each morning since.
