This is probably the 4th or 5th time I look at this shot and each time I find something new that I like about it. Amazing shot!

So over the Christmas break we had a family trip to Panama and my oldest daughter kept talking about how she wanted to see a sloth. She had read about them at school and had an infatuation with them, regaling us with all kinds of sloth facts on the flight over. Lets just say she was over the moon when we found a private residence that serves as a sloth rehabilitation sanctuary and not only did she get to see a sloth up close and personal she even had the chance to hold a sloth!

I was using a travel lens for these pictures, a Tamron 28-300mm f 3.5 6.3 vc pzd di a010n http://www.tamron-usa.com …8300_vcpzd.php#ad-image-0 (external link)
Still not listed in the database (the other 28-300mm Tamrons are older versions). Although not my favorite lens in the bag it is extremely versatile and still get decent results coupled with the D750 imo.

The above goose photo was taken while we are out shooting this photo below. I couldn't post it until they reveled on Facebook yesterday, but now I can. I wish there was more smoke, and more wide spread, but because they were holding the pose they started laughing and the later photos didnt look intimate. This is also the last two remaining smoke bombs, and we had to combine them both otherwise there wasnt enough smoke to really show. I would have loved to have done two on each side, but they only brought a few. Overall I am very happy with the result and that my two friends got such a nice shot of them for the future.

The amount of smoke (or lack of) is no detraction IMO. It's a great looking image

Very nice image but I think I would have prefered it without the smoke.

I'm gathering that the smoke was really the focus - it's a boy?
