I'm starting to see more of these guys now- they seem a bit late this year. they are year round residents but move around according to water levels and availability of the snails

. thanks, they are specialized to eat apple snails- they are very good at it

. They are awesome critters and not always easy to find. They only eat apple snails so more snails mean more successful breeding
