Tim, those are looking very good, keep up the good work and it seems you are now at a baseline of camera settings that can allow you the flexibility in trying other things now, like picture styles, or post processing techniques to get a feel for what all you can do with these files and how pliable the 7D2 files might be.

Thanks TS for the encouraging words. I do feel like my anticipation and timing are getting better. I definitely have to work on my post processing skills. For example, UTEP's uniforms are orange, and I just noticed with my post processing I have made them almost red.

Another thing is I am about to put my 7DII up for sale. I have a chance to upgrade, and while I realize my abilities are not worthy, it is an opportunity I can't pass up. I mainly shoot portraits and weddings, so my upgrade will help there also. Unfortunately basketball is coming to an end this season so there is not much opportunity left to improve.

I met another photographer at the UNT game and started talking to him, and he offered me a chance to come work at the Southland Conference Tournament. That would be a great experience for me if I am able to do it.

I like the last picture best! I am not sure if there is any correct formula to what you want from your post processed images. It depends who the recipient is really. :)
