I manage to get out last week and compare the 5Dsr with the 1DXmkII and it did very well, these are 5Dsr 600f4mkII 1/200 f6.3 iso 100

I also shot a Hawk aircraft flying at 340 knots again the results were good and looking through all the files from both camera's it would be hard to say one focused better than the other in this very nice light .

Must be the week of plane shots with 5dsr's as I was also around planes recently....This is from Sat at Avalon Airshow which is Southern hemispheres largest Air show

Image is of Australias new f35 Joint Strike Fighter which the RAAF took delivery of a week ago . This was first public outing for it after being flown to AUstralia from US via Hawaii and Guam.


BTW ...The sound was so loud as it flew overhead my ears started to rattle!...Only time thats ever happened before was with the Raptor so this thing certainly has some punch in the jet engine/propulsion department.
