From Spring Break

I actually did not shoot this. Another caver on the trip, Eric Hahn did with my camera. This is Deirdre Conroy (top) and myself (bottom) on the first rappel into Valhalla of the day. I usually do the first drop of this cave with no camera. It is an experience unlike any other. It is my happy, special place.

Emily Dillon on the way down the 227ft entrance shaft to Valhalla. The thing is enormous.

Like way big. Emily Dillon is int hat photo somewhere.

My favorite view of Valhalla. From the bottom looking out in the morning when the fog makes the top invisible. Everything fades to oblivion.

Morning Glory - Deirdre Conroy eclipses the sun for me in Stephens Gap Cave.

Heaven in Earth - Stephens Gap Cave

Neversink by Moonlight

Deirdre Conroy and Spring Salamanders in Flowing Stone Cave.

I have more, but did not want to overload. It was a great trip.

C&C welcome

These are incredible. The beautiful thing about photography is it allows me to live vicariously through your images.

I've rappelled a couple times in my life so I understand the exhilaration of the ride, but I highly doubt I'll ever get to a place as beautiful as these images.

Thanks for sharing.
