Put the 300+ the TC on the 7II today and again the "L" lens shows its stuff. Plus a couple of opportunities didn't hurt, either.

Was focusing in on this Harrier when Nan, the local bird lady start shouting "A male Harrier-the Blue Ghost!!" Guess not seen that often and rarely this close. So, good fortune to have this occur!

And then a Cara Cara flew by!

Nice shooting Rog! Funny that she calls it a blue ghost instead of a gray ghost!

Ha, laugh's on me-she did say gray ghost! Actually, she calls it the silver back, but usual nickname is gray ghost. The USS Lexington, a WWII aircraft carrier that is permanently anchored here in Corpus Christi was nicknamed the "The Blue Ghost", by Tokyo Rose, I believe. So, my bad!

Thanks for the kind words and the correction (in a way).

A great day when you get shots like that Rog. It's funny how the male of the species is so hard to find; you'd think there would be one of them for every female.

Great work Rog. I'm still waiting to find a Harrier that will fly by me when I have my gear.

Thanks, Jeremy. And the fly-by will happen when you least expect it, right? :-)
