I didn't get a good opportunity to get close to the Wolf female. She's standing on the same beaver dam I shot a Moose on back when the 7DII was new to us all. Different angle but same dam. beaver hut is in the image on the Moose.

Nice, you are getting some good mileage out of that beaver hut. Nothing wrong with multiple use.:-)

I love that first shot, I wish we had wolves here, Ive tried get fox photos but our foxes are so cunning and often nowhere near as pretty as yours. Have to say the 7DII really is an amazing camera, I just got a new much faster pro SD card to replace my fairly fast flash card and its opened my eyes to just how many more shots I can shoot in a row plus the improvement in buffer, amazing, like having a new camera all over

I'm much more selective in my full out long strings, I tend to do short burst now. but sometimes its hammer down lol This fox is all new to me for shooting, I was out in the open and hid behind the camera and back up against a tree. All of these images were shot camera on case 5 but ..but only using spot AF

Got what I need,.. Now I'm out of here

Nothing as good as Jeff's stuff and aladyforty's robin (which was outstanding) but several sports shots.

A two run dinger and the resulting celebration.

It was an evening game but I had just enough light to shoot with my 100-400 II.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Nah, I don't consider posting here a competition. I just enjoy viewing the photos that are posted here. And the quality of the photos posted makes me want to strive to improve.
