I did my first all nighter last night shooting the milky way.

a7mkii with Samyang 14mm f2.8

After a bit of driving around and trying different location we tried to find a spot at Lake kerete. We were alonside the lake, but in the wrong position so missed getting the relection shots we were aiming for. It works out we were 300m away from where we wanted to be, but couldn't find the turn off in the dark! We will be returning :)

I got my Sigma 35A with MC-11 kit today. The Sigma does indeed have full native function. I tried most of my Canon glass and it worked much better than I remember with the Metabones last time I had the A7R ii. The 17-40, 35 f/2 IS, 50L, 85L and 135L all worked great. I didn't try the 24-105 or 70-200 yet. I am very happy with this setup. Planning to start switching over to more Sigma glass for the native functions and be able to use both the 5D4 and the A7R ii.

This one is with the 85L II

I was going to buy a SamYang 14mm. Instead I got a Laowa 15mm macro lens. Both at f4, full open.
