Do you guys ever have GAS in your dreams?

Yup! I hate the moments where that "I just bought a sweet new ......" wear off, as you realize you didn't

Do you guys ever have GAS in your dreams? Woke up this morning from a dream where I had convinced myself to buy the FE 50mm f/1.4 ZA. Totally crazy...now I want it in my wakefulness (my FE 55mm 1.8 is plenty good)!

Argh...I'll say this: between the Batis, Loxia, Sony Zeiss, and Sony GM there are an awful lot of native lenses to wish for now. I do wish I could have all the native f/1.4s (35, 50, and 85), plus all the Loxias, and I still love my Batis lenses too.

Really looking forward to the 16-35mm GM to see if they can replace my wide Batis lenses. Probably not - not getting my hopes up there.

it's a great looking lens, would love to try it out.

I'm a little simpler in my demands, a nice 35,50,85 f2 is all I need. 1.4 would be great and would probably be acquired down the line, but having a super small day to day kit is a higher priority with kids and all, I simply cant juggle my diaper bag along with large 1.4 primes/2.8 zooms :p

edit: btw, been looking at the loxia 50.... why did I do that

Never had it with camera gear but with other things. Kind of sucks. Desires outta nowhere lol

Another capture of the weather beaten pilings that once formed a pier. This was just before the sun peeked over the horizon. The sky and water had a nice color to it.

Loxia 85 and SR app. I had my ND filter kit but I had to hurry to get these shots since the light was changing fast.

Thank you David! It's a fine balance on the color. I wanted to avoid the Barney purple color.

Stepping on Gene's territory a bit, had a visitor today

100-300 @300, snuck up behind my fence and shot through it, hence the white sides

Awesome! I have yet to see a hummer in the birdbath I made for them. Of course, even if and when I do, I'll still have the challenge of getting a photograph of the event.

this was around 6:45 am I think, they probably come early since the bigger birds will tend to come a little later. It's fairly low light at that time, hence the noise and low shutter speeds (however, I like to shoot at low shutter anyhow)
