When I go to the custom control screen of my Canon 7D Mark II the ONLY item on that page is "Clear all Custom Func." The other control functions as on the image below are not there? Any idea what might have happened and how do I get that back? Thank You.

All the menu items don't show up if your camera is in Auto mode. Put it on Av, Tv or M.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

It is in "M" mode. I also just tried setting it on AV mode and TV mode and same result.

Have you actually tried clearing the functions? I didn't think there was a custom function to hide them, but it could be a start.

Do watch out for the changes to the menu system (And other functions) between the Mk1 and Mk2 models.

Clearing and going back to defaults to start over is often a good trouble shooting task when weird things are going on with stuff like this. Just remember to double check your settings and such, which is a good habit to be in anyway.
