I was going to buy a SamYang 14mm. Instead I got a Laowa 15mm macro lens. Both at f4, full open.

Love the boat picture, except for the horizon being crooked. The top of the tower and top of building are out of focus. These photos scare me away from the Laowa.

I slipped up there with the horizon, now fixed.
Yes I had left the top of the building out of focus to show what the lens is like.
I need to do a bit more with it.

At 15mm & f/4 I'd have thought if the bottom of the building is sharp then the top shouldn't be far off the same...?!?

This lens has a tilt slide, this is without it.

Another one with the Laowa 15mm, f4.
No edits, just a bit of a crop.

I have been intrigued - How is this lens, especially wide open?

Hi
This is an amazing lens, I'm impressed.
Very sharp at F3.4 in all focal lengths.
I would say it is my favorite lens. I highly recommend this lens.
