Ive noticed my camera has locked up a few times, with the red light permanently on. Ive had to take the battery out and put it back in. No image corruption though.
I have a feeling its to do with the card and not the camera itself, and more specifically the SD card (although it works fine in my 80D)

Ive had it happen to me a couple of times, both right after I got it. I had to turn the camera off and back on to get going again. I was shooting when it happened, well...I was out shooting. I believe in both cases I was using or messing around with LiveView. I haven't had it happen since those two times however. I had basically written it off to me hitting something that locked it up. Maybe not.

Mine 'could' be down to me taking the card out when the camera is on. Definitely not while its being written to though. Ill just keep an eye on it. Its not a big deal so far.

I live just by the Tate Modern in central London, and at the moment there are some interactive exhibitions going on.
This one is an interactive fog outside the building.
I fist shot it on the way home from work (first shot), but have just gone back at night and took some hand held shots, and im really impressed with the dynamic range of this camera.

Why are my Custom Modes CP instead of C1, C2, C3? I cannot change my shutter speed. Not sure why it's like this.

P mode is the default shooting mode for the 3 custom slots. To change this you set the custom modes by first setting the camera to AV/TV/M, then saving that set up to one of the 3 Custom slots.
This means if, for example you save AV mode to C1 then you cant change the shutter speed. If you look in the VF bottom left it will tell you what shooting mode you are in.

No, just with SD and CF cards in. Its not happened for a while now so im not sure what was going on, but it was worrying.

Both cards are fast Lexar cards and not cheap slow ones.
