If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Might pick up a 6D, but with 215k shutter clicks... that sounds awfully high. Should I pass, is there still like in it, or can a shutter replaces be a decent option?

Price in the UK for a new shutter is approx £200, I would factor that into the purchase price and base your decision on that.

Noisy @ ISO 1000 and 1/40 sec since it was shot from a boat and couldn't use a slow shutter speed (even after de-noising in LR). And I underexposed it a bit too much. But nice colors...24-70 f4

This is a great set! Love the moody lighting, just has a great feel, like being on a river deep in the jungle, under heavy canopy. Great work!
