With my ongoing 365 - 2017 project, I've now got into the habit of taking the camera to work everyday
so this morning I tossed the kit bag into the back of the car at 6.30am and headed off
As normal, I called down the allotments to feed and water our chickens, also as normal and with me being lazy, I parked the car up the top and walked the 100yds or so down to our plot

Chickens duly fed & watered I locked up and headed back to the car and onto work, except this was the sight that greeted me, and my best laid plans of taking the camera everywhere lay in tatters over 100yds away lol

Good job I had my phone in my pocket :-)

Looks like you have a lot of clouds to work with Tim. Between work and other projects, another shot from the around the house

Randy, the Kelpies are the two statues in the photograph. Each is around 30m (100ft) high.

A kelpie is a mythical Scottish horse-like beast that would offer strangers a ride, then take them down into the water and kill them. Nice. The sculptor, Andy Scott, insists that the statues are not really Kelpies, but horses, representative of the massive Clydesdale horses that powered much of the early industrialisation of the Falkirk area.

Falkirk as a town for tourists has long been overshadowed by its near neighbour, Stirling. However, in year 2000, some genius created the Falkirk Wheel, the world's only rotating boat lift. Falkirk realised the potential of the canal as a vehicle to drive tourism, and the Kelpies were one of the results. The two statues stand either side of the entrance from the sea into the Scottish canal network, and they have been really well marketed as a symbol of the "new Falkirk"

And they are about three miles from where I live :D

I stopped in at Beecraigs Country Park with the intention of taking a running photo. But then I realised I didn't have my running kit with me. I did have clothes for Pilates, but I have seen too many pictures of incredibly bendy people doing Pilates and it would just be embarrassing to show how rubbish I am... so I took a landscape instead
