Heya,

Some solar from this morning. Interesting features finally after a solid two weeks of silence on the surface.

Full Disc.
Sunspots 2645 & 2644.
The biggest prominence currently on the limb.
Captured with a 5 inch achromatic refractor and a Quark Chromosphere.

Yes, but they're mostly time lapse. The surface changes noticeably every minute and especially every hour. Some of the most amazing videos are shot in ultraviolet but are non-consumer gear, its on a satellite. Lots of videos on youtube.
