Selling my Canon EF 24mm 1.4L II. I have a hard time doing this because I really like this lens, but I'm not shooting enough with it for me to warrant owning it any longer.

Lens Date Code: UZ
Lens Body Condition: 9/10, typical wear around the ring, three nicks at the bottom rubber gasket
Lens Glass Condition: 10/10 No scratches, no internal dust
Sale Includes: both lens caps, lens hood
Price: $950USD (includes shipping)
Payments Accepted: PayPal
Possible Trades: None (Just purchased a Tamron 24-70, trade offers off the table)
Shipping Methods Available (Ships From): USPS, FEDEX
Shipping Available To: CONUS only
Item location: Atlanta, GA
Best Contact Method: PM
Feedback: I've bought and sold here on PoTN and Fred Miranda in the past. Feedback for ebay transactions are 100%. PM me for information.
Reason for selling: I'm apparently coming out of retirement and now shooting weddings again, so I need to supplement my arsenal with a 24-70.

Bump, dropping the price from $950 to $900 shipped. I need to move this lens since I just bought the Tamron 24-70 and need to pay for it.

I'm interested, but curious to know what's going on on the bottom of the lens...this area looks reddish, is that a reflection?

Looks like someone marked it with ink or paint. I checked my 100mm macro and saw that it wasn't marked. Won't affect performance though.

Did you by any chance buy it refurbished? Sometimes that is the mark put on it by canon for refurbished products.

I purchased it second hand. I wasn't aware that's what the mark was, never purchased one refurb'd from canon. I guess price drop to $850 then.

I'm really sorry, that was not what i intended. I read somewhere in the forum about it, but it is not a surety. Please call Canon with your serial number and they will confirm, one way or the other. I truly apologize.

That's okay, although I'm losing money on the transaction, I'd prefer to provide accurate information to the buyer and adjust the price accordingly to reflect the condition of the item.
