Apr 03, 2017 14:16 | #3993 If you use a 1.4 or 2x extender, how do you like the image quality? I'm needing more reach for baseball games but deciding do I try an extender or rent a 100-400. JohnBphotography.net

TustinMike figment of our collective imaginations More info Post edited over 6 years ago by TustinMike. (2 edits in all) | Apr 03, 2017 15:22 | #3995 This lens, when attached to my 7D Mark II, is astonishingly quick in locking and holding focus. The cars at the top of the corkscrew kind of just pop out of nowhere and then plummet down the hill, there's no way to anticipate the instant they will appear, yet with this combo, my keeper rate was quite respectable, even at 1/80th of a second.
