Great image and lighting on her face. I personally might be tempted to stop it down just a tad to get that 2nd eye a little sharper when shooting that close.

I don't know the Fuji system at all, but when I see images from that 56mm F1.2, they almost always impress me.

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

I like the cool tones in everything except her. Nice work! It sure beats the H out of selective color fails that we see here.

Mike, thanks for posting an image with this new lens - that is great sharpness across the frame for F4. Looked at your Flickr - some very nice images. On this headshot, I think I would take the slightest exposure off the hotspot on his forehead with a radial filter, or similar, in LR.

Thank you! I'll take a look at the highlights on his forehead. I haven't been posting on Flickr as much as I used to but thank you for taking a look. The Tamron 70-200 G2 has been great so far, fast accurate focus and remarkably sharp focus. I'm very, very, very happy with it. A couple non-portrait shots I took in Philly the other day:
