so, yesterday was the first day I got to try some flash out on location and to my surprise, it didn't work above like 250 SS

It was a cheetah 360 flash and the cheetah X series transmitter

It worked below 250 SS but when I was up around 800 it would not sync. I went into the menu systems and looked around but didn't see anything.
Closest thing I found was the menu with rear sync and all that

the cheetah 360x WORKS with my camera but just not the HSS. My friend who uses it on his canon gets HSS.

Its the 'manual' version of the 360x so I know its not the ETTL that allows him to do it?

I guess it may just be time to by myself a setup?

Any recommendations?
I want the xplor600 tbh
looks amazing.

It should work if you are using the 360x and the X1 transmitter. Mine works great with my a6500.
Try putting the flash in HSS instead of letting it do it automatically.

What are your camera settings and the 360? I was having the same issue with the XPlor 6000and my problem was the flash wireless settings I was using on my A7II.

Works like a charm now.
