Tri-Motor (Ford Tri-Motor), this one serial No. 8, built on December 1, 1928. Currently owned by EAA, the airplane is visiting the Double Eagle II airport in Albuquerque from April 6-10. Rides cost $75 per person and are about 30 minutes in duration. It's amazing that such an airplane is still flying.

Great images of a Beautiful Bird!!
Tail-dragging at its best :-P

Airplanes are like Old Volkswagens, they just keep ticking along..
(as long as you have deep pockets! )

I'm telling my boys that these are "Toadstools" and not to be eaten, touched, trampled or tennis racqueted...

TV Tower

This one from 1956 was the first ever to be built not as a steel lattice tower, but in concrete.

Thanks Sibil; it means an administrator has added the image to the best-of gallery.
