They are indeed a challenge. While this isn't a 7D2 shot, for illustration purposes, this is the crane where my previous shot of Osprey nest building was taken at. They have been using the very top pully of this WW2 era crane at Mare Island Naval Shipyard for several years now. That would be a daunting climb  :p

I hav to say the 18-55 STM is pretty impressive for the price.
