Why don't you just put one or two at a time. Eight pictures to critique would take too much of anyone's time.

Which one do you think is the best one and I'll critique that one for you.

Here is one general comment.
You need to keep your horizons level.

To improve the 3rd one: I would look for a more interesting subject. Sorry not feeling any love for this one. Keep at it :)

You need to keep your horizons level.

This. ^

Third one down? Assuming the subject is the rocks......not too interesting. No great colors or shapes, nothing much going on in the background. So there is really nothing to keep a viewer looking. You have three pictures here of essentially the same thing....rocks. Grey, water smoothed rocks, all about the same size, shape and color. If these are pictures of a special place from a memorable trip and they mean something to you, wonderful. But for anyone else there is really nothing to look at.

If you think of photographs you have seen that really caught your attention, what was it that made you keep looking? What is it that would make you want to have a particular picture on your wall? It's usually s great subject, lighting and composition. These pictures above don't have these elements. I think the one of the lady and the boy is cute and would make a nice memory, but not something you'd hang on the wall.

As Sybil mentioned, watch your horizons....tilted can ruin. Play with lighting. Shoot several pictures of the same subject using different settings to give you different effects and moods. You'll learn a tremendous amount by trying different settings and shooting angles.

Remember what the DorMouse said.....feed your head.

I agree.

And as JWdlft pointed out, in the "Share" areas IMAGE POSTING RULES specifically state: "Do not use the forum as your image gallery, post only the best of the best and link to the rest."
This means we allow 2 attachments by the OP per thread, OR 8 embedded (linked) images, OR a combination of 2 attachments + 6 embedded (linked) images, totaling 8 per thread. (Maximum 1280 pixels on any side.) You can always just post a link to more, though, or better yet, post a link to a gallery so we don't have to click on each image link.
Some exceptions are group threads, like "Show Me...", "Post your best...", equipment reviews, Tutorials, etc.
You may add a few additional photos if requested, but only in a reply to other member's post and request.

ok, so are you having fun snapping pictures? Then these serve that purpose just fine. And you don't need any critique to have that fun!

If you want to get better, you first have to decide what you are taking pictures of, and for what purpose.

Personally, I like the last picture the best, as far as composition.

The 3rd picture just shows rocks.. and not any particular interesting rock.. and it is slightly over exposed, and the sky is not to your advantage like in the first picture.

The first one you could have focused on the shell.. as it is different from all the rocks.. and had some sort of purpose for that photo, and the sky is exposed nicely. I know some dont like the tilt, but I don't find it the main problem for this picture.. no subject, or no subject in focus is the problem.

So my advice... if you like your pictures, and it is for fun, don't let us all be a kill joy for that. 'Better' is all relative, and can be a rabbit hole to get lost in and kill all the fun of taking pictures. Look up Composition, look up Exposure, look up "Learning To See The Light" and if some of that stuff is of interest to you, read up on all that, apply it to some more pictures, and post them. But if it doesn't interest you.. don't worry about it and have fun!

Godox/Flashpoint r2 system, plus some canon stuff.
