Today I took my boys to Te Papa museum (in Wellington) where they have a Gallipoli exhibition.
Part of the exhibition is made up of some huge life-like models made by Weta workshops folks (LOTR & The Hobbit fame, among others)
Quite a good reminder of what the ANZAC's endured...

Found this really nice buck rub on one of my trees down by the creek this afternoon. By all indications, it was done by a pretty nice heavy racked whitetail buck. He must have come through this area during the dark hours last fall, or I probably would have seen him. Also quite a few smaller trees were rubbed, most likely by the smaller bucks. Now that was interesting to me to find this rub..:-)
