Very nice bird and portrait..! (There is a bit noise at the Background and I can recommend Topaz Denoise 6, which I use as a plug-In for PS - I use it on the whole image without selecting the bird...)

I was just going for the look on his face.. The noise is only seen because I cropped it to where it is. Truth is I didn't give the noise a second thought.
