How is the sharpness? I tend to print 13x19 and larger.

Sharpness is very good. Not as sharp as the 16-35, but pretty dang good. Here's a Flickr album of real estate, all shot with the 10-18 and my EOS M if you want to have a look.

Thanks. I took a peek at your Flickr album. The shots look fine on the computer. I am most concerned with the image quality of large prints. Thanks again for your post.

I have a couple 24*36 prints from my 16-35 f4 and they are a smudge better than the 16-35 2.8 ii but it's really only in the corners and from up close.

I no longer have qualms about image quality on the 16-35. I would like to keep this lens on the 5Diii. If the the IQ is somewhat similar with the 18-135 on the 80D I would be very happy.

Nice shot!

If you said this was shot with an 35L on f/2.0 I would have believed you

Does anyone know if a 77mm to 82mm step up ring will fit inside the hood for this lens?

I have a really nice 82mm CPL and I'd prefer not to shell out for a 77mm CPL in addition to it.

Honestly, I have not tried it myself, but considering that I have difficulty removing the lens cap when the hood is on, I'd say no. There really is no room, understandably so, otherwise it would defeat the purpose of the hood.

Thanks for the info, the lens just isn't here yet so I had no point of reference.

I'll just use the 82mm without the hood until I decide to get a 77mm or bit the bullet and get a Lee kit.

Thanks again!
